When healer Calanthe and their partner, Knight Roren, finally face down the demon they've vowed to rid the land of, the last thing they expected was for the battle to take a turn for the worse. Though Calanthe is able to slay the demon after it kills Roren, their healing spells can't bring him back from the beyond.
